Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Thailand Stock Loans ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data, and the rights you have. It is aligned with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (the "PDPA"). For the purposes of the PDPA, Thailand Stock Loans acts as a data controller in respect of the personal data described below. Last updated 30 May 2026.

What we collect

We collect only the personal data that is reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to assess and arrange a potential transaction. This typically includes:

  • Enquiry details — the information you choose to provide when you contact us, including the substance of your message and any documents you send.
  • Contact information — your name, the entity you represent, email address, telephone number, and preferred language.
  • Position information — details you voluntarily share about a shareholding or proposed transaction, such as the listed security, approximate position size, and your role or capacity in relation to it.

You are not required to provide personal data, but if you do not, we may be unable to respond to your enquiry or to evaluate a transaction.

Lawful basis and purpose

We process personal data under one or more of the lawful bases recognised by the PDPA, namely: our legitimate interests in operating our business and responding to enquiries (where not overridden by your rights); the necessity of taking steps at your request prior to, or in connection with, entering into a contract; compliance with our legal obligations; and, where required, your consent. Our purpose is to communicate with you, assess and arrange share-backed financing, conduct appropriate due diligence and verification, maintain records, and meet legal and regulatory requirements.

How your data is used

We use personal data to respond to and follow up on enquiries, to prepare and discuss indicative terms, to coordinate documentation with counterparties and advisers, to comply with applicable law and regulation, and to maintain the security and integrity of our records. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Disclosure to counterparties and advisers

Where it is necessary to evaluate or progress a transaction, we may disclose relevant personal data to licensed Thai lenders, custodians, professional advisers (including legal and tax counsel), and other counterparties involved in a proposed financing. Such disclosures are made on a need-to-know basis and subject to obligations of confidentiality. We may also disclose personal data where required to do so by law, regulation, court order, or a competent authority.

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet legal, regulatory, accounting, and record-keeping requirements and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. When data is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise, or securely dispose of it.

Security

We maintain appropriate organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised or unlawful access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. Access to personal data is limited to those who need it for the purposes described in this notice. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, but we work to safeguard the information entrusted to us.

Your rights under the PDPA

Subject to the conditions and exceptions set out in the PDPA, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy.
  • Rectification of inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date data.
  • Erasure or destruction of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Restriction of, or objection to, certain processing of your data.
  • Data portability, where applicable.
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

International transfer

Where a transaction or a service provider requires personal data to be transferred outside Thailand, we will take steps to ensure that such transfers are made in accordance with the PDPA, including ensuring that the recipient maintains adequate data protection standards or that another lawful basis for transfer applies.
